Delete your account

For the BookMe app (for clients) and the BookMe Pro app (for businesses and their teams), by Fusionix LLC.

Last updated: October 22, 2026

In the BookMe app

  1. Open Profile and tap Delete Account.
  2. If you have a visit coming up, a membership, or money owed to a business, the app lists it: cancel or settle it first. A membership has to have ended, or be set to end within the next 30 days. Packages with visits left are given up, and you tick a box to agree.
  3. Sign in again to confirm. You're signed out, and the deletion is scheduled for 30 days later.

In the BookMe Pro app

  1. Open Manage → My Account and tap Delete account — or tap Delete account on the screen asking you to choose a plan, or on the welcome screen.
  2. If you work at a business and still have visits to perform, ask the business to reassign them first. Otherwise you leave the team straight away, and the business is told.
  3. If you own a business, delete the business first (Manage → My Account → Danger zone): it's refused while clients are still owed visits, gift card balances, package credits or memberships. Your account's deletion then follows the business's.

The 30 days

Your account can't be signed in to during the 30 days. To keep it, open the link in the email we send when you ask — or, on the sign-in screen, tap Account scheduled for deletion? Email me the link to keep it. Keeping a business keeps its owner's account too.

What is deleted, and what is kept

  • Deleted: your account and sign-in, your profile, notifications and favorites; and at each business that knows you by this account — you booked with it, or with the email you sign in with — your contact details, notes, signed forms, waitlist entries and saved cards (including at Stripe), and your reviews there.
  • Kept for 7 years, with nothing that identifies you as a client: the record of each sale — a visit's date, services, prices, payments and tax, and invoices and memberships — as tax law requires; then it's deleted too. Gift cards and packages you bought stay in the business's books, without your name, while the business does. If you worked at a business, your name stays on the visits you performed.
  • Kept by others: each of those businesses is told you deleted your account and asked to delete any copy it keeps outside BookMe Studio. A business that knows you only by another email or phone number isn't reached — ask it directly. Stripe keeps payment records under its own policy.

The full detail is in our Privacy Policy (sections 12 and 15).
